Trilingual Bible - This edition of the Holy Bible offers the biblical text in three languages: Portuguese, English, and Spanish, in the translations Nova Almeida Atualizada (NAA), English Standard Version (ESV), and Reina Valera Contemporánea (RVC). The English Standard Version (ESV) is an update of the traditional King James Version (KJV), a translation of the Bible into English, released in 1611. In a manner very similar to what was done with the Almeida Revista e Atualizada (ARA) that resulted in the Nova Almeida Atualizada (NAA), the KJV text was meticulously worked on, in light of the original languages, by experts. The result is a literal biblical translation that still retains the classic standard of the KJV but with vocabulary more accessible to today's reader. The ESV is one of the most popular biblical translations in the United States and throughout the English-speaking world. Reina Valera Contemporánea (RVC). It follows the classic style but with language and linguistic constructions more appropriate for the Spanish spoken at the beginning of the 21st century. It is preferable for use in the Church, to maintain the classic style, although in a more current language. Languages are a living thing that changes over time. The classic Reina-Valera translation underwent a revision in expressions that begin to fall into disuse. A typical example of this is the replacement of “vosotros” with “ustedes”. At the same time, the great archaeological and linguistic findings of the last century were incorporated into this translation.
